The ABC difference
All members of our ABA Therapy Teams are trained and educated in the field of ABA. All programs are supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, Master’s Level professional in Behavior Analysis) or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA, Undergraduate Level professional in Behavior Analysis). Our BCBAs and BCaBAs are responsible for conducting assessments with each client they serve, writing and ensuring progress in ABA Programs, working with parents, caregivers, teachers, and related service providers on training and instruction on the principals of ABA, and supervision of Behavior Technicians’ implementation a child’s ABA Program. Direct Therapy is provided by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT, Paraprofessional Level professional in Behavior Analysis) or Behavior Technicians working toward obtaining their RBT Certification.
At ABC, collaboration and coordination of care between the family, our ABA team, and all other professionals involved in our clients’ lives is of paramount importance. For a child to be successful and have the best long term outcomes, it is critical that everyone communicate openly.
